Managing Partner for James Moore & Co. effective November 1, 2019. She succeeds Carol Villemaire, who has served as managing for nearly 10 years and will remain a partner with the firm.
Suzanne has been with James Moore since 1987. The youngest partner ever admitted to our firm, her impact has been significant and multi-faceted. Suzanne has served as partner-in-charge of our Daytona Beach office and worked in several areas of the practice including audit, business consulting and tax. A former leader of our firm-wide Accounting & Auditing practice, she is currently the leader of our Real Estate Services team and has built that industry segment into a region-leading line of services.
Suzanne has also long been a champion of technology and fondly recalls her “SuperCalc vs. Lotus races” with other accountants back in the day. She spearheaded the firm’s computerization of processes in the late 1980s. On the client side, she helped many companies and individuals transition into electronic recordkeeping of financial transactions.
As she takes the helm, Suzanne is most excited about the direction in which the firm is going. “I love the innovation that we’ve emphasized—providing non-traditional business advisory services, using robust new technologies and providing a fun office culture that’s uncommon in our industry,” she says.
While she looks forward to this new phase of James Moore’s history, she also emphasizes that one thing won’t change. “We’ve got a longtime commitment to having a knowledgeable but caring process,” says Suzanne. “We’re not just about numbers; we’re about the people behind them.”
Suzanne holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Stetson University. You can read more about Suzanne here.
