Katie Davis Featured in Tax Notes Today’s Article

James Moore partner and collegiate athletics expert, Katie Davis, CPA, has been featured in Tax Notes Today.

The article, titled “Business of Tax: College Athletes Risk Tax Red Flags After NCAA’s Shift,” explains the changes that are coming to the NCAA due to all of the changes in the Name, Image, Likeness landscape. Katie spoke about how important it will be for each individual institution to educate their athletes on the tax implications of personal branding. She also mentioned that some states are requiring their schools to offer financial literacy as part of their athletic program.
