James Moore Announces January 2025 Firm-Wide Promotions

Congratulations to our team members receiving management and higher promotions throughout our firm! The promotions are effective Jan. 1, 2025.
Savannah Barnardt has been promoted to ACS Manager at our Gainesville office. Savannah joined the firm in 2021 and earned her Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Sciences from the University of Pretoria.
Allison Benton has been promoted to A&A Manager at our Gainesville location. A member of the firm since 2020, she holds a Master of Accounting from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Catawba College.
Sonali Danak, CPA, has been promoted to Tax Manager at our Tallahassee office. She began her James Moore career in 2023 and received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston.
Karsten Derendorf, CPA, has been promoted to A&A Director at our Gainesville office. Karsten has been with the firm since 2013. He holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Florida.
Stacy Dreher has been promoted to Chief Growth Officer and is based in our Gainesville office. A member of the firm since 2014 and leader of our marketing department, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bethel University.
Chris Elton, CPA, has been promoted to Tax Senior Manager at our Gainesville office. Chris joined James Moore in 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of William & Mary.
Sara Evans has been promoted to Marketing Director for the firm’s advisory services (James Moore HR Solutions, James Moore Technology Services and James Moore Digital). She joined the firm in 2024 and is based in our Gainesville office. Sara received her Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Photography, Design, & Advertising from the Art Institute of Phoenix.
Alex Gartland, CPA, has been promoted to Tax Manager in our Ocala office. Alex has been with the firm since 2021. He earned a Master of Accounting at Saint Leo University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Missouri Valley College.
Vittoria Heggie, CPA, has been promoted to Tax Manager in our Gainesville office. A member of James Moore since 2020. She received her Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida.
Jason Hendrix has been promoted to Web Strategy Manager in our marketing department and is based in our Tallahassee office. Jason joined the firm in 2020 and earned a Master of Science in Sports Management from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Georgia College & State University.
Priya Hiraga has been promoted to Chief People Officer. A member of the firm since 2022, she leads our internal human resources team and is based in our Tallahassee office. Priya received a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida State University.
Melissa Lingo has been promoted to Business Associate Manager in our marketing department and is based in our Daytona Beach location. A James Moore team member since 2022, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
Ryan Miller, CPA, has been promoted to Tax Manager at our Gainesville office. Ryan joined the firm in 2021 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida.
Kristy Minton has been promoted to Senior Manager of Tax Operations at our Gainesville location. She joined James Moore in 2019 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Saint Leo University.
Jordan Mirakle has been promoted to Tax Manager at our DeLand location. Jordan joined the firm in 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Stetson University.
Kyle Paxton, CPA, has been promoted to Tax Director at our Gainesville location. A member of the firm since 2013, he holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida.
Travis Swanger has been promoted to A&A Manager at our Gainesville location. A member of the James Moore team since 2021, he holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Florida (as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Florida).
Matthew Thompson has been promoted to Tax Senior Manager at our DeLand office. Matt joined the firm in 2016. He earned a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Stetson University.
