James Moore Named a Top 100 Employer by Accounting Today

James Moore, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants (James Moore) was recently named as one of the 2016 Best Accounting Firms to Work For by Accounting Today. The industry news resource partnered with Best Companies Group to identify accounting companies that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees. This marks the second year in a row that James Moore has won this honor.

The Best Accounting Firms to Work For survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the 100 best employers in the accounting industry, benefiting its economy, workforce and businesses. To be considered for participation, eligible companies had to be an accounting firm, have a facility in the United States, have a minimum of fifteen employees working in the United States, and had to be in business for a minimum of one year.

Companies from across the United States entered the two-part survey process to determine inclusion in the Top 100 list. The first part consisted of evaluating the workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics of each nominated company. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data and determined the final ranking.
