Mike Sibley Reflects on the Daytona Chamber’s Exceptional 2024

Mike Sibley, partner with James Moore & Co. and 2024 board chair for the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce, provided his state-of-the-chamber address to hundreds of people assembled for the chamber’s annual awards luncheon on Oct. 30.
Installed as chair in January of 2024, Mike summarized his year of service with Wednesday’s address. He discussed the chamber’s many accomplishments over the year, including solid growth to membership and re-opening its renovated location. He hands the gavel to chair-elect Michael Sznapstajler, an attorney with Cobb Cole Law Firm, at the beginning of 2025.
Mike also presided over several awards given out at the luncheon, including the Nonprofit of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, and the Marvin Samuels Memorial Leadership Award. The Peabody Auditorium, a fixture of the local performing arts community since 1919, was also recognized for its 105th anniversary.
